1. Where can I see your aircraft and can I make a demonstration flight?

2. Do you offer a nosewheel version of the Mission M106?

The Mission M106 with nosewheel landing gear is currently under development and will be available by the end of 2006.

3. Is the Mission M106 Microlight aircraft available as a kit?

No. The Mission M106 Microlight aircraft is only available as a “ready to fly” factory built aircraft. We are not planning a kit version.

4. Why is the Mission M106 airframe not made of composites, as is the case with the M212?

Microlight category aircraft are subject to very strict weight limitations. Meeting these limitations with a composite airframe would imply a massive sacrifice of durability and repairability, and at the same time making it significantly more expensive. 

As an example, for the M212 four seater we typically use 600 gsm (grams per square metre) glass fabric for any outer surface, which results in a robust, durable and easy to repair structure. However, this is too heavy for Microlight category aircraft. We know certain competitors offer composite Microlight aircraft using a mere 160 gsm glass fabric on the outer surfaces. Guess who will spend the most of the Winter making repairs…

5. How robust and durable is the Mission M106?

Robustness is our trademark. We are confident the Mission M106 is amongst the most durable aircraft in its class and will cope with very intensive use and demanding environments such as encountered in most flying schools.

6. If I order now, when can I expect delivery of my aircraft?

The Mission M106 is now in production and we are taking orders. Please contact us for up to date information about available production slots.

7. What are the engine options for the Mission M106?

The standard engine for the Mission M106 is the UL260i from ULPower. In the Mission M106, the engine is derated to 80 HP (60 kW) at 2800 rpm. 

Optionally, the Mission M106 can be offered with a Rotax 912 or 912S engine.
